Cart retaining period

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.1

hi,
I set "Cart retaining period" = 5 minutes
and set "Frequency of the check for the carts" = 5 minutes
but dont work.also keep cart item in so time.
how to set empty cart in 5 minuets period?

Hi,

It's normal. The cart retaining period and frequency are done when you access the backend of the shop.
The point is to clear the carts once in a while. So that you have about a few weeks or months of carts in the database and not that it grows indefinitely.
Even if you set it to 5 minutes, it won't clear the carts every five minutes.
It would require the development of a hikashop plugin if you want to do that.

No, I meant that it would require the development of a new plugin. Not changing an existing one.

Hi,

No, it's not possible with mass actions as they can only act on products, categories, users, addresses and orders, not carts.

Custom development is not provide via the support or in the forum ; it's something outside the limit of HikaShop support since it's pur development.
