Checkout custom fields

Not sure what the problem is but I'm trying to use custom fields in one of the checkout's steps...

Looking at your documentation, looks like there should be an option where I can specify which custom fields will be displayed for a specific step:

But when i added fields i don't have the option of specifying which ones to include:



Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

it seems I need a business version, and these fields need to be of a "order" table?

So I guess the question is whether is a bug or do I need to upgrade to business version?
And if in fact I need to upgrade, will it cause the end of the world? or all the setting, products, checkout flow, etc will remain the same, with the addition of custom fields and few options here and there?
