When using Microsoft Edge and Explorer the client can't see the shoppingcart. if they go to check-out the reach the page with Brand Listing. All other browsers are ok. Tried to use Legacy mode, but that didn't helped us solved the problems. do we miss something in the setup?

Hi,

Could you try turning off the "add to cart legacy" setting (the checkout legacy setting won't do anything in your case) of the HikaShop configuration ?
Does that help ?
Also, this looks like a user session issue.
Try changing the "session handler" setting of the Joomla configuration.

Thanks for your reply

Sorry, I ment the "add to cart legacy", we've tried that, just turned it off again, You get the pop up stating that it has added the Item to the cart, but it does not place anything in the cart.

We've tried changing the session handler in Joomla, but this doesn't seem to have any effect on the cart.

Hi,

Internet Explorer is quite sensible regarding user session issues.
For example:
forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=267&t=247631
So check the live_site of your configuration.php so that it corresponds to the URL you're using.
Or this one:
virtuemart.net/imprint/142-tips-and-tric...ion-a-login-problems
So check also the session save path
In any case, this means that there is some problem in how the server or the website is setup. So if these above don't help, you could also try making a copy of your website on another server (in local for example), and see if that helps. If so, then changing server / hosting might be worth looking at.

Finally we got it, thank you very much for leading us in the right direction. I found out, that for one reason or the other, IE and Edge browsers conflicted with our cookie domain settings. With these setting corrected, everything works.

And again THANK YOU!
