Setting up email for the payment that is not confirmed yet

Hi,

I was trying to set up the email notification for the shop. At the moment, I successfully set up and receive an email for the order "created", which is for seller's only. And I would like to have an email for the buyer once the payment is done and notice the buyer our shop will verify the payment at paypal.

Our shop is using the "Hikashop Paypal Recurring Payment Plugin" for payment, and the payment was tested as successful at Paypal. After that, other than the Paypal emails, can I set up an auto-email notification for the buyer after the payment was done and returned to the shop? I would like to have this email when order status is still remained as "created" before the payment is confirmed.

Hi,

The email sent to the buyer is "order creation notification". You can find it in the menu System>Emails. Make sure that the email is published there or the email won't be sent.
You can also verify that the email is being sent by HikaShop by going in the menu Customers>Email history. If you see it there but your customer don't receive it, then there is either a problem on your email server or the email is considered as spam and rejected by the receiver. So in that case, you can contact your hosting company in order to check the logs of the email server thanks to the details of the email in Customers>Email history and they should be able to tell you what's the problem exactly.
