Zone restriction conflict payment methods and shipping methods

Hi,

In my shop shipping methods use zone restrictions. Now I also like to use zone restrictions for the payment methods.

That works fine as long as the billing address and the shipping address are in the same zone.
When these zones are different, it becomes clear that the automatic filtering of the payment method is based on the shipping zone, not on the billing zone.

Changing the zone of the billing address doesnot have any effect on the payment methods shown.
Changing the zone of the shipping address does effect the payment methods shown.

Say a Belgian customer buys an product and chooses to send it to a Dutch friend.
The billing zone is Belgium, the shipping zone is Netherlands.
During the checkout Dutch shipping methods are shown (that's okay). However only Dutch payment methods are shown (that's wrong).

Only after changing the shipping address to Belgium, the Belgian payment methods are shown.
In that situation changing the billing address from Belgium to Netherlands does not has any effect, still only Belgian payment methods are shown (wrong).

Is there a way to correct this behaviour?

Thank you for your feedback, we improved it through the last Hikashop version, and it should take into account the billing zone for payment methods.

To test it, you'll just have to download the last Hikashop version through our website and install it.

I've tested version 3.5.1 on a local copy of the website, and indeed then the payment method zone restrictions work fine.

Alas upgrading the live shop can't be done without extensive testing since we use many overrides of the views.

Is there an easy way to adjust Hikashop 3.2.2 to take into account the zone restrictions of the payment methods?

Hello Udo,

The best solution will probably be to back-up your website and customization before installing the last Hikashop website to be sure that you customization will work correctly with that last version.
