-- url of the page with the problem -- : quollbooks.com.au/index.php/hikashop-menu-for-products-listing
-- HikaShop version -- : 4.0.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.4
-- PHP version -- : 7.2.16
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1.0

My HikaShop products listing page ( quollbooks.com.au/index.php/hikashop-menu-for-products-listing ) has three different products listed for testing purposes:
• A book (“Courage in a Hostile World”) – weight 0.510kg
• A donation – weight 0kg
• A PDF document (“Why didn’t Pell defend himself?”) – 0kg

Two Shipping Methods are defined:
• Parcel Post 500g Satchel ($9) – weight range from 0.01kg to 0.49kg
• Parcel Post 1kg Satchel ($12) – weight range from 0.49kg to 0.99kg

The Address and Shipping component has “Force shipping regardless of weight” = No

On the products listing page, clicking [Add to cart] results in the Shopping Cart module showing (correctly): Shipping $12 for the book (as the weight of 0.510kg is within the 1kg satchel range from 0.49kg to 0.99kg) and no shipping shows for the Donation or the PDF document.

However, when the individual items are clicked to show the individual product pages, all three wrongly show the message:
Only one shipping method available :
Parcel Post 500g Satchel : AUD9.00

Is this a bug in the software or a setting I have missed somewhere?

Hello,

Can you provide relative screenshot, and especially product configuration and shipping configuration.
Plus, from what I can see it seems that your text :
"Only one shipping method available :
Parcel Post 500g Satchel : AUD9.00
"

Take look on my screenshot :

I'm quite sure that you have associated the product with this shipping method (via Shipping Prices part) .
Hope this will fit your needs.

Regards

You are correct about the shipping method being linked to the product:

How did this get here? There is no delete button to remove it. What should I do?

The shipping configuration includes two shipping methods:

What should I do to get the system to select the appropriate shipping method for each product?

Hi,

That's because you have activated the "shipping price per product" setting in your shipping methods. In that case, you can setup a shipping fee for each product for each shipping method which will be added on top of the shipping method price.
And with the manual shipping prices plugin that you can configure via the Joomla plugins manager, you have a setting to display or not the shipping price of the current product on its product page. So you can also turn that off.

Thanks - that seems to have fixed the problem.
