Cart is not updated

-- url of the page with the problem -- : shop.hansplanje.nl/
-- HikaShop version -- : 4.2.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.13
-- PHP version -- : 7.2.25
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : firefox
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : In any browser

In the webshop, after adding an article to the cart, the cart is not updated.
Thus the, potential, customer is not aware of the articles being added to the cart.
Switching to another page or article shows then the updated cart with all articles.

Can you help me out here so that the cart is updated after eacht added article?

Additional information: This situation occured since after November 5th.
Maybe the problem is in an updated version of HikaShop.

Hello,

Here some check to get the root issue :
1. Check your Hikashop Add to Cart notification Plugin (in Module dropdown => search for "Add to Cart"
2. Process a test with a default template like ProtoStar (the point here is to see if you have some override in HikaShop file)
=> When you update from an old HikaShop version with some override view, it breaks some process because old override view
works with more recent views, and so the point with the default template is to don't use these potential overide views.

Hi Philip,

Sorry to say but I have checked both modules and plugins (in Joomla environment) for add-to-cart module and plugin.
Neither were found, so hopefully you can give me some more advice on how to act now.

Hi,

We tried to access your backend but couldn't. We were automatically redirected to the frontend without even the chance to see the login form.
However, I had a look at the situation on your frontend and I think that you should try to turn off the "add to cart legacy" setting in the HikaShop configuration in order to use the new add to cart system. It should work much better for the refresh of the cart module.
