Hi,

During the checkout, I have a step where users have to give their address (it is only for the 3DSecure - DSP2 coming soon that I need that)
I would like to make it easier for my users and I will need to show a form with the different addresses fields.
If there is already an address saved, then it will show the address information in the textbox fields.
That way it will allow the user to modify it directly if needed

Clicking on the Next button, will save the address set up by the client.

Here an example of the form I would like to implement.

I have seen that checkout / address.php allow to modify the title of that form.
But changing the rest seems complicated. So do you have any tips or suggestions ?

Thanks

Hi,

You can easily change / disable / add the fields of the address form.
To do so, go in the menu Display>Custom fields.
There, you'll see one element for each field there and you can edit / add / disable them there.

Thank you for your answer.
What you suggested worked to choose the address fields.

Please check the following image to see what I am trying to achieved.
How could I do that?

Hello,

Isn't it what you already have on your website when you click on the "pen" icon ? Setting the "Address selector" option to "dropdown list" via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout" will probably do the job.

Kind regards,
Mohamed.

Thanks for the answer.
The list or dropdown list are indeed better.

I end up removing the button to add a new address and I removed the horizontal bar of buttons when editing an existing address.
That simplify the address form content when one unique address by user is enough.

I think it could be an interesting option to add.

Hi,

Also, note that you have a setting in the HikaShop configuration to remove the address fields from the registration form.
In that case, after the registration, the customer will end up on the address form directly when displaying the address view, like what you're looking for.
