unable to get custom fields to work in the checkout

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.2.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.16
-- PHP version -- : 7.3.16
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome and firefox

I have followed forum instructions to enable custom fields to allow customers to enter information during the checkout.

Whilst i can get the module to work - (so the heading and the button are published) i cant get the text box or title to display.

It actually worked the first time i tried it - but then when i edited the filed properties - the text box disappeared and I have tried everything to get it back including deleting and starting it again

At the moment it is set to publish if a book it put in the checkout.

Hope someone can help me

Hi,

I see that you limited your field to only some category of products.
So make sure that the product you're testing with is in that category. Otherwise, the custom field will be discarded.
Also, please check that you have the "Fields" view in your "Checkout workflow" and that your custom order field is selected in that view.
