Solved the first part of my problem by entering NONE to Force menu on checkout in the Checkout configuration. ( www.hikashop.com/forum/checkout/896575-c...t-found-confirm.html )

Still the /shop-products/checkout/checkout/confirm.html is not loading the site template.

Hi,

Ah yes, nice catch on the solution with the "force a menu on checkout". This probably means that the menu item you had selected in that setting is configured in a way that can't be used by HikaShop's checkout.
The best is to either leave that setting to "none", as that's the case by default, or select in it a menu item of the type HikaShop checkout.
Regarding the issue with your confirm page, I wanted to look at the situation, but I'm not able to register. After filling the registration form and validating, I don't receive the activation email from your website to validate my account and continue the checkout.
I suppose that it's because you have an issue with the sending of the emails on your website.
I would recommend to check that the email settings in the Joomla configuration are properly setup.
And if you could provide a test user acount so that we can directly skip the registration to check your checkout last page, that would be great.

Hi Nicolas,

I was able to complete the registration and even checkout with a test user, and did actually get the website activation email and completed the activation process. Was your email address an actual one? I may have changed some settings since you attempted it.

I have gone ahead and activated your test account and added a shipping address for you. (I really don't need shipping address, so will try to remove that requirement.)

Main step is left is getting the checkout screen to format with the main template.

Appreciate all your help with this!

(Just to confirm I was able to register, get and submit the activation email, log in and complete a purchase. As stated the /shop-products/checkout/checkout/confirm.html is not displaying the website template. Should be good to test now.)

Hi,

Yes, I used test_hikashop AT hikashop DOT com which is a real email address.
The issue I can see on the confirm page is that your template (I suppose ?) includes a CSS file but that CSS file doesn't work:
monosnap.com/file/0EeaesxRpW177uaozlCNPJUSesMQpP
Instead of returning the CSS, it redirects to the products listing and thus returns HTML contain which cannot be used by the browser:
monosnap.com/file/sTX3h6Xwx6BmOpu1jV4yzCJlQDx4Jo
I believe that this happens because the confirm URL can only be used once, when you click on finish, and after that the page is not available since the order has been created and the cart cleared. But your template tries to use it to display its CSS.
I would recommend to avoid doing that and use it's own URL.
Also, one thing you can try to circumvent the problem is to change the "clean cart when order is" setting of the HikaShop configuration to "confirmed" instead of "created".
That way the cart won't be cleared at the end of the checkout and the page should display properly. But then the customer will still have his cart, so it's not ideal.
An alternative could be to enter another URL in the "return URL" setting of your payment method. That URL would be one with a Joomla article saying the "thank you message". That way, the template could use that URL for its CSS.

Used this suggestion. Thanks.
