Empty cart + deleting items in cart fails

Hi

I'm experience some odd behavior.
I have added the EMPTY CART link to my site, but when something is in the cart and I click it, nothing happens - not until I refresh the page.
I'm not taken to the URL I set in the settings.
Not can I delete single items in the cart - seems like they stay there.

Any ideas how to solve this issue?

I have made a small screenrecording, I hope that tells about my issue:

I set the template to Protostar to make this and the issue is still there.
I can add products to cart, but when I want to empty the cart nothing happens - well it empties it, but doesn't show it/update the minicart.

Even if everything seems to be well configured, it's maybe coming from an incompatibility issue with another component of your website.

After some testing on your website, and also on my end (I wasn't able to reproduce your issue), your issue can be coming from your views override that you have added via "Hikashop->Display->Views".

Can you test it without these override ? Especially the override of the "cart" file of the "product" view, of your front-end template. Thank you !

I just did some other tests and your issue seems to be coming from your cache extensions "Regular Labs - Cache Cleaner", when you disable it, everything seems to be working fine.

That clean cart isn't a built in "clean cart' button, that's why you are having that issue, the best solution will either be to remove that customization on the "show_block_cart" file of the "checkout" view of your front-end template, or to directly contact your template provider or the one who have added that customization.

Yes, that's because we already have the "Show delete icons in the cart" option which enable users to directly select which product they can delete through the checkout's cart.
