I disabled payment, but some people slip through

On my webshop i've enabled payment per iDeal for people who choose shipping for their order. If they select some kind of meat, the shipping option disappears so that people can only have non perishable products shipped. They have to collect meat orders in the store themselves or there is an option (for people with certain zip codes) to have the meat delivered by us.

Now I've already had two customers who put meat in their basket, chose to collect the meat in the store themselves and still got to make a payment through iDeal.

I've tried to replicate this by choosing the same products, but I can't get to the payment screen. Can you guys help me to find the problem?

Thank you for your assistance! Do you want me to try to reproduce the order? I've tried that a few times and can't get it done unfortunately. It works like it should. But this weekend I got another one.

I've set it up as follows:

1. For every meat product (individually) I disabled all shipping options per postal service (people can only select the option to collect in store or have the order delivered by us (in certain zip code area's surrounding the store)

2. In the ideal plugin I've made a restriction for the shipping methods, so only people who select shipping by postal service can make an iDeal payment.

The problem is now that people select a delivery by us, or collect in store and still can make a iDeal payment.

What I thought myself was that I may have forgotten to make shipping restrictions for a few individual meat products (I know i've forgotten a few since I needed to select those options for all meat products I created) but that isn't the case either when I check the products these people have ordered they are setup correctly and when I put them in my basket I can't pay with iDeal.

I'll add a screenshot of te ideal plugin settings with the exceptions. If you need more, please tell me.

If it helps I wouldn't mind giving you access to the back-end so you can have a look.

Well, we could have a look at the settings, but without being able to reproduce the problem we might not be able to find anything useful.
How did you configure "For every meat product (individually) I disabled all shipping options per postal service" ?
With the "shipping price per product" mechanism and the "block" checkbox ?

I used the "blocked" checkbox under shipping prices to disable shipping per postal service for meat products.

Hi,

I checked the situation on your website and I believe that you have a bug that we've fixed 2 weeks ago as a hot fix of the 4.4.0 whereby the shipping method was not properly auto selected in some cases.
So what I would recommend is to download the install package of the 4.4.0 again on our website and install it on yours again.
That will add that hot fix ( and a few others ) and it should then work properly.
