Hi
We wanted a very simple login in guest mode - email address only. It seems like I manage that.
Admittedly, half the checkout page is filled with login fields. They do not work and can be ignored. But the fields are confusing for customers. Could we take them away, please, so that the page starts with "guest" see attachment. Also included are two screenshots of the settings behind the success so far.
Regards

Hello,

You have an option for do that, follow me step by step :
1. Go in Main HikaShop Configuration => Checkout tab
2. Login & Registration part => Display method for registration option
3. Eventually define a default view with the "Default registration view" option.

Hope this will fit your needs.

Sorry, this do not fit at my end.
Now the lower part with "guest" disappeared with just an email login - which was the good thing about the setup. While what I wanted removed is left alone. Have I misunderstood something?
To my knowledge my setup worked, except for the confusing text on top
"default registration view" where can I find it for the drop down meny or how do I create it?

Hello,

If you "Default registration view" dropdown is empty, then you have to define your checkout access mode, see my screenshot :

This setup will allow you to define authorized way to access your checkout, and on the frontend you must have a selector to allow your customer to choose among possible access, see the frontend screenshot :

So, from this different form can't disappear, if you have define all these different settings, then by using the selector button your user will be able to choose his way to your checkout, and the called form will be displayed.

Hope that this details will allow you to progress on this subject.
Regards
