-- url of the page with the problem -- : zoecamper.com/
-- HikaShop version -- : 4.4.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.26
-- PHP version -- : Latest
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox, Edge, Crome
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Error says 'No Shipping Method Found'.

Hi,
I hope you are well. I could not find this on the forum but apologize in advance if it is there.

Issue
When a Customer clicks the Checkout button and is not logged in, they are taken to the payment method form fields, rather than login, and the Error messages says 'No Shipping Method Found'. The users needs to be directed to login first and then complete Checkout. I am not sure how to fix this myself and would really like some help.

Thank you.

Zoe

Hi,

There are two ways to "fix" that.
Either, you configure a shipping method that is available before the customer enters/selects his shipping address (this depends on what shipping methods you're using and how you configured them), or you configure your checkout workflow in the HikaShop configuration in two steps so that the login/address views are on the first step and the shipping view is on the second:

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestions.

I have the standard workflow for checkout and have have set it so that you have to login in and have an account to buy something. It has a Login as a first step. When you click checkout it does go to login in, but jumps down to payment method, and just above that the error message says no shipping address. This is because the user has no account.

So I think it is going to the login but then jumping down. I have attached a screen shot of the beginning of the checkout workflow. The login has the registration option to enable a new customer to create an account.

I am sure I have messed it up somewhere, sorry to be a pain :^)

Thanks again.

Zoe

Hi,

As I said, you need to have login and address on the first step, and shipping on a second step.
On your screenshot, I can see that you have all the views on the same step, not on several steps.
Please review the tutorial I gave the link to in my previous message and you'll understand what I mean and what to do.

Hi,

Thanks for your help. Please ignore reply below, I split the workflow as you suggested and it is much better. Thank you for all your wonderful work on HikaShop.
