-- HikaShop version -- : 4.4.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.27
-- PHP version -- : 7.4.16
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 89.0
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : "{product name} undefined"

I created a menuitem for a product page in hikashop on myself site

In the frontend when I click on the "Add to Cart" button in that product page, a slider popups at the top right saying "product undefined". Nothing is added to cart.

Please help.

Hi,

I'm not able to access your URL:

I would guess that this error is because of some customization of the product page, either made by you or your template. But without being able to look at the situation, that's just a wild guess and it could totally be something else. It could also be a new bug from the 4.4.3, since we released it only a few days ago.
However, one thing you can do is try to switch to the default template of Joomla and display again that product details page and try again to add the product to the cart. If it works with the default template, then it's likely linked to a customization. If not, then it's likely a bug.

Thank you.

I moved the site to a new location to make it easier for me to test this. This is what I did:

I created a menu item to a product page in hikashop. In site frontend, I clicked on "Add to Cart" button in product page. The message "product undefined" appears at the top right in the sliding window, but it looks like the product got added to the cart.

1) I tried in 4.4.2 and 4.4.3 hikashop versions and the undefined message occurs in both.
2) I switched to protostar and tried adding the product to the cart. The undefined message still comes up.

I then tried getting the add to cart link from product page and added it to a href link inside of an article. When I click the link it got added. Looks like in this case no Ajax request is made and hence no error.

Please let me know if you need more information.

I was troubleshooting the page, and found another notification plugin that has been triggering a js error causing this as well. Disabling that plugin is loading this message fine.

Sorry for the trouble.
