Need to have blank county that needs to then be mandatory on checkout.

Hi All,
Need to make the default county blank on checkout, and then make it mandatory to enter the county. The reason being that some customers are to lazy to change the default county. So it needs to be blank then throw up an error if they don't select their county.

Any ideas?

Hello Ian,

The solution will probably be to directly edit the configuration of your "Country" address custom field via "Hikashop->Display->Custom fields", and set the "Add a 'Please select' value" option to Yes.
