Please can you provide these elements in order to better understand the context and when the error emerge :
- Step by step process (in order to try to reproduce the issue)
- Screenshot of the error (with the Joomla Debug switch On AND in level development)

Awaiting your element to be able to progress on your subject.

Hi Philip,

My step by step process is as described here: (I used the php solution)
www.hikashop.com/forum/install-update/89...checkout-solved.html

I attached the settings of my custom field and also in the checkout, and also how the field looks like in frontend and the error (See attachments)
It's Joomla 4.0.5 and Hika Shop Business 4.4.5 and PHP PHP Version 7.4.x

Hellp,

Thanks for your additional information, we now better understand the context and from this we have 2 points to check :
1. Have a look in Extensions dropdown => Manage => Manage
=> Use the Search input with "Date" to find "Hikashop Date Picker Plugin"

2. Did you install recently a plugin or something (even template), that may use some javascript, and eventually can leads to prevent the hikashopeDatepicker js ?...
=> Best way to proceed is to switch of plugins one by one and process each time a test, can be quite repetitive and boring, but sometimes we have no choice...

Awaiting your returns to progress on your subject.
Regards

Hi Philip,
I have only Hika Shop, Hika Market and the Template installed.
I switched to Cassiopeia and the problem still exists.
I disabled Hika Market and it also still exists.
I disabled Hika Shop Cart override, that did not help either.

I have the Date Picker Plugin enabled.

What could I check next?

Thanks,
Elisa

Hi,

I guess it will require analyzing the javascript and ajax requests on the checkout.
Could you provide an access to your website so that we could look at the situation ?
If yes, please provide this via our contact form along with a link to this thread:

Hello,

We process some tests on your website and where able to use as expected your advance date picker (birthdate) in your checkout.
Now let's be clear... If you ask why that didn't working that will be hard to say...

Basically I process some settings/save tests, and that's all.
Sometimes for a reason or another when a custom filed is created something went wrong while saving process (and sometimes while updating HikaShop), and just save again entries can solve these kind of issue...

Hope this will allow you to achieved your needs anyway.
Regards
