Checkout page on multilingual site

Hi,

On my site, the default language is en-US. The checkout page works like a charm.
But not on my second language (fr-FR). When I check the terms and conditions checkbox or remove an article of the cart, it kills the display of the page, displaying in the checkout page the complete homepage of the site.

Any idea what's going on or what I did wrong?

Thanks a lot Nicolas for your answer.

I already selected a menu item in the force menu on checkout.

I just made it available for all langagues and the issue is gone. But now in French it doesn't display anymore my French template style. I presume there's no way to fix this?

Nope, it doesn't work. Apparently to not have a broken display for the 2nd language, the selected menu in the config has to be set on 'all' languages
