After login it goes straight to default payment method

Dear Hikateam,

On my site I have two payment methods; Bank transfer (= default) and iDEAL.
When the customer is adding to cart it goes straight to checkout (that's okay.)
But when they are in checkout they have to register or login first to complete the order.

After logging in or registering, the customer will immediately be taken to the thank you page of the bank transfer. And he cannot go back because then the order has been created.

How can I prevent this and ensure that the customer can simply choose the payment method?

it still completes autoamtically the order and goes straight to Thank You page of the Bank Transfer (default payment method).

Thank you, but I already did it. I have now done the checkout in steps with the progress bar and now it works.
