Hello Support,

my customer want to have the Name and the full amount of their customers in the subject of the confirmation mail, wich goes to the admin.
I've been trying to get it under system -> emails in the admin_notofication, but it doesn't work. What is the corret var to built it up?

There is another thing. If I see a list of all the articles in a subcategory, click on a product and then use the buttons to click to go to the next or previous article, I go up a category instead of staying in the previously selected subcategory.
Is there any way to fix this?

Thank you in advance for help.

Best regards
Robert

Hi,

1. You can use tags in the subject to dynamically fill the subject with data from the order.
For example, you can use {order_number} to use the order number, {order_full_price} for the total amount of the order, {customer.name} for the name of the Joomla user account linked to the order, {billing_address.address_firstname} for the firstname of the billing address used in the order, etc.

2. The next and previous buttons on the product details page base themselves on the main category of the products. So make sure that the category you want to be used for these buttons is the first one in the list of categories of the products.

Hi Nicolas,

thank you for your reply and sorry, for the late response.

1. Do I have to use the var of e.g. {order_number} in the order administrator notification of emails in the Email subject field above or in the html?
I tried both and nothing worked.

2. The categories are already set up with subcategories.
For example, if I have a main category with wine and two subcategories with red wine and white wine and I select the red wine category, then I click on a red wine article and want to click the forward button, it jumps back to the main wine category and shows me all the wines. Not just the red wines.

Hi,

1. Yes. What do you mean by "nothing worked" ? The tags were not replaced ? Or the tags were replaced by nothing ? Or you didn't see any change to the subject regardless of what you put there ?

2. Mmm. That indeed sounds like a bug. However, I'm not able to reproduce the problem on your website.
For example, if I access the page hofladen-shop/destillate/Kategorie/140-destillate-fassgereift and open the first product, I arrive on this page: hofladen-shop/destillate/Produkt/251-boskoop-apfelbrand-im-eichenfass-gereift-0,2-l
Then, from there, if I click on the "Nachster Artikel" button, I arrive on the page hofladen-shop/destillate/Produkt/252-boskoop-apfelbrand-im-eichenfass-gereift-0,5-l which is the next product in the "Destillate" category, etc.
Could you provide precise instructions to reproduce the issue ?

Hi Nicolas,

1. I've been trying this way (see attachment). This tags were not replaced. I've been even tried to integrate the subject within the PHP (2nd screenshot). It's either not working.

2. If you got this path: "Startseite -> Online Hofladen -> Destillate -> Destillate Fassgereift" and choose one product. After pressing "next item", it jumps on category up to "Destillate" instead of keeping in the category "Destillate Fassgereift".

I hope you know what I'm talking about. :)

Hi,

1. These tags you're using are not valid. You're trying to use tags from the HTML version. You can't do that in the subject.
I mentioned 3 different tags you can use as examples:

For example, you can use {order_number} to use the order number, {order_full_price} for the total amount of the order, {customer.name} for the name of the Joomla user account linked to the order, {billing_address.address_firstname} for the firstname of the billing address used in the order, etc.

Please try them.

2. That's not what I see. When I click on the next item button, I see the product details page of the next product, and not a listing of the parent category. Maybe we're not talking about the same thing. Can you provide screenshots to illustrate ?

Hi,

Ah, ok. So you're talking about the name of the category in the breadcrumb module on the product page.
That's because the "simplified breadcrumbs" setting is activated in the HikaShop configuration.
Turn it off and it should work like you want.
