Guest Checkout with the same Email Address – Issue with second purchase

I am using the guest checkout function and therefore do not want to create a customer account. Now, I have tried to place a second order using the same email address and I am receiving an error message saying that my email address has already been used.

My expectation would be that I can place new guest orders at any time using the same email address. How can I achieve this?

Hi,

Indeed, you can place as many orders as you want as guest with the same email address.

If the system tells you that you can't use an email address for the guest checkout, it means that in the past, you created a user account for the email address you're trying to use. In that case, you have to login to purchase since you already have a user account on the website. Another solution is to delete the user account for that email address. Then, you'll be able to purchase with it as much as you want as guest.
