Can Hikashop handle booking of ferry-boat tickets?

If you want to make a "booking" system, with a specific quantity depending the date, it will be a little bit complicated because you will need to create a variant for each date.
If the quantity per date is not important, it will be easier for the management.

The "item custom field" which allow you to pick a date while adding the product in the cart is a feature of HikaShop Business.

The option system does not allow to select a quantity per option. At this moment I will recommend you to create a option with variant (see our demo website for that). The variants will be the quantity for the number of adults, etc.

The final price will be the price of the product plus the prices of the options.

After that, I see that you mention "tickets". If you want to generate the ticket directly in HikaShop, you can use HikaSerial for that.
