Language Problem

Hello all,
I am new to this e-commerce platform in joomla but i knew it.....Actually i am in bit confusion with virtuemart and Hikashop...
I am from India.....but i want international english for customers. Here i get Hindi language which is quite difficult for others.

How to change Hindi to International English....it is also need for registration area too....but how can i??

I think that the solution will probably be to edit each state of India through "Hikashop->System->Zones", and translate each Indian state's name through the "English name" option.
Then you're Indian states will be displayed like this : "Indian name(English name)"

I am selling to the English speaking ex-pat community here in Thailand, but the list of "states" in the address and shipping section are all in Thai script which most non-Thais cannot read.

Is there "ready translated" list of Thai/Japanese/Chinese etc. states available for implementation in Hikashop?

Unfortunately there is no "Ready translated" list that you'll be able to import, the only solution will be to directly translate them.
