A solution would be to use the Joomla login module, so that you're customers will be able to login/logout through each page of your website.

Like I said in my previous post, if you use the Joomla login module, and that you display it through all page of your website, even if your customer login with "hikashop login", he will have a "logout" button through the Joomla login module.

Note that Hikashop use Joomla user so loging in with the Hikashop login form or the Joomla one will be the same.

Looking at this thread, I can't see an option for having just one login. I enabled the joomla login in order to be able to logout, but now I have two logins showing at checkout time - one on the page and the other in the top right. The page one doesn't seem to work - it just returns blank. So the joomla one must be overriding it? Can you explain and tell me which I should get customers to use? This started because I need to introduce a coupon code for users.

Hi,

Both logins can work together on the same page. You an see that on our demo website actually.
So if you have a problem with the login on the checkout, it's not linked to that.
Try again with the debug mode and error reporting options of the joomla configuration turned on and that might display an error message when using the login form instead of a blank page. If so, please provide the error message. Otherwise, please provide a link to the shop.
