Ordering Records in a Backend Table

I'm rather confused by the "Order" field in hikashop back end tables.

It seems like I should be able to change a records "order" and thus reorder the records in the table - i.e. quickly move a product in a product listing from 123rd to 2nd place.

But I can't, and furthermore, the ordering isn't always consistent - sometimes numbers are skipped, or repeated.

Is this a bug?

Best wishes,

Jonathan

Hi,

Because HikaShop can display products from a category and his sub categories, the sorting can look non consistent.
You can put the numbers you want, if there are several times the same number it won't generate a bug, the products will have the same "ordering" and the product id will be use to make the "difference" between them.
