Product sales and event registration

Can Hikashop Business be used to sell both products and event registration from the same website? We are a school and we sell t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc..., but also have an auction. We like to follow your event registration tutorial if it would work in our situation.

I don't think it is a problem since everything is setup as a product, but what about the follow-up email. Can I send a different email for the auction registration than I send for products, such as, t-shirts.

Hi,

You can sell products and have event registration in the same website yes.
We did it with in our demo website.

The thing that you have to know is that, you can have both in the same cart. So at the moment when you add the event in your cart, you can't add regular products in your cart except if you empty it (and remove the event).
Otherwise, it works good.

Can I have two(2) different email responses to the client---as in one for products and one for events?

Hi,

It can be possible, but will require some custom code in any cases.
The easiest way seems to be to edit the desired mail and add an if condition to display some content if it's a product or another content if it's an event.
