category text not showing

Hi,

1/ We have put some text in a category of our shop. When you surf to this page in safari, firefox, explorer the text is shown. If you go back afterwards (some times) the text is not shown anymore. And it is impossible to get it back. We have the impression that if we make the text smaller the page is shown without any problem... But we could not make the text smaller so this is a bad solution, any idea? See attached print screens.

2/ When we activate in Joomla general settings 'rewrite URL' option and go to our webshop the categories in the webshop are not shown anymore. We get a page not existing. Any idea how to solve this?

Hi,

Would it be possible to have some details about your SEF configuration in HikaShop ?
You are using an "old" version of HikaShop (2.3.2 has been release this week). Updating to the last version could fix some problems you got.

Hi,

I updated to the new version of Hikashop. Attached you can see the SEF configuration in Hikashop.
The problem with the category text not showing is still there. Also have a look at www.one-welding.be/index.php/shop/catego...algemene-voorwaarden

HikaShop is right called but the category description is just not displayed.

Would it be possible to have the configuration for the "HikaShop > Display > Content Menu" with id 125
(ID is the last column in the listing)

The menu is right called, and the modules are displayed too (a product listing module, id 118).
So I think the problem comes from the menu configuration.
Otherwise, having a configuration for one of your category can be useful.

Hello Luc,
You should set the "Show description" option of your category listing content menu to Yes so that your category description can be displayed.

Hi,

Thanx! This was it, the category text is shown now!

One more thing. If I go to my shopping cart (see screenshot) you can see below the total price without tax, than the price for shipping, then the price for taxes (should be "BTW" in our language) but in my case there is the word "artikelen" which means products. Also in the mailings you can find the word 'artikelen" in stead of "BTW". Can you tell me where I can change this?

Hi,

"artikelen" seems to be the tax name you gave to your tax rule.
So you can edit the tax rule in order to name it "BTW" instead of "Artikelen".

Else it will require view edition in order to put your custom text instead of the tax rule name.
