style and template

Hi
i see in menu that hikashop has
1 style for HKS
2 template for HKS

Could you explain the differences beetween the both choice ?

Here how i undersand the term
1 style is only css/raster/font /svg ( no js html )
2 template is style + joomla extension ( php js)
3 theme ? => variation base on 1 or 2 using joomla template parameters

the information in the page is about what you can do not about the thing we could find in the template ( in a way i am interest more in the asset since i know how we should use them => php html javascript css raster, vector ) .

so style for image +css can be call a theme .
a theme target only the same main page "html css selector hiearchy structure" or sub/module "html css selector hiearchy" .

there is theme for

• boostrap like http://bootswatch.com/cosmo/
• hikashop like http://bootswatch.com/cosmo/

for hikashop there is template and theme like http://www.websitetemplates.bz/hikashop-themes.html .
But
1 how we can have new template in hikashop ?
2 which php file must be override ?
3 if we enable booststrap does it mean HKS load a different css file style specific to bootstrap ?

You can find templates adapted for HikaShop here:

To change the display of the existing pages in HikaShop here is the full documentation for css and html customizations:

If you enable bootstrap, we just display divs adapted for responsive template properties, we don't load another css file.
It's the template which must have responsive properties.
