-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.notavailable.com
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : doesnt matter
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Clarify about FaLang...

Im preparing a site with Hikashop that will be translated to multiple languages (German, Japanese, etc).

Throughout the Hikashop documentation, it recommends FaLang, but also installing FaLang first. That's not possible in my case.

The documentation isn't clear and I want to avoid a disaster so please confirm that I can install Falang and THEN install Hikashop again OVER the current install.

That's the proper procedure, right? It won't work with Hikashop unless Hikashop is installed again over it?

Hi,

You can first install Falang, or first install HikaShop, it doesn't matter.
The only thing you need to do is that after you have installed both on your website, you need to turn on the "Activate the edition of content in multiple languages" option of the Languages tab of the HikaShop configuration in order to activate the integration.
