-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.highwheelerantiques.com/index.php/hi...r-categories-listing
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.22
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : CHROME 41.0.2272.101

On my sight I will have items for sale that we will be able to ship to buyers once payment process is complete but some large items that we still want to display will not be available for shipping. Is there a way to distinguish these and disable shipping of these particularly large items? What would be the best approach?

Thank you

Hi,

Yes, that's possible.
You could turn on the "use price per product" option of your shipping methods (when you edit them via the menu System>Shipping methods) and then, in the product edition page of the products you want to block, you'll find a "shipping prices" area where you can block the product for each shipping method.

Well that's a step in the right direction for sure and thank you for the advice but ideally I'd like to remove the add to cart button altogether if possible, is there a workaround for that? For instance, all items in a certain category such as furniture would all be without an add to cart button.

Thanks

Hello,

For instance, all items in a certain category such as furniture would all be without an add to cart button.

The solution can just be to set the quantity of your products to 0

Hi,

That's right, you can use CSS or you can also use a translation override.
