Editing products with many

Hi

We have products in the shop which have multiple weights and variations. Each weight dictates the price of the product.

For example, we have a product which has 12 different weight variations. Then the product also has difference fabrics, which is currently totaling to 829 different variations.

We are looking for an easier way to set the price for each weight variation without having to go to individual variation and changing it manually. I have been doing it already and it has taken me nearly 3 hours and I haven't finished, and we have other products to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can we export the product and then update the CSV file then re-import the CSV?
There has to be a quicker way to do this correction we have 15 items with 829 varents that we need to correct prices on, we has a team member working on this yesterday for 4 hours and they did not complete one item, its taking that long.

Yes indeed you can export the products, edit the csv file and import them back to update their values.
Based on what is changed, you can potentially use the mass actions, if the correction is a percentage or a fix amount for all the products, it can be updated via this system.
