Hello, all!

First of all, I kindly ask the moderators to forgive me if posting in the wrong topic place.
Secondly, my situation is a bit awkward: I am an employee for a small company, which wants to expand, and I received the webpage created with Joomla! by another company. Moreover, i have to deal, at the moment with little things like products, about us, and others like those mentioned before. In 4 months I've uploaded 435 products, but in an interesting way. I used WordPad and the joomla account to do so.
I use a second account made by superuser with, in my opinion, limited access.
Thirdly and last request: how can I change the font and background colours?
I will attach 2 files for a better understand of my situation.

Info about versions:
- Joomla!: 3.3.0;
- HikaShop: 2.3.1;
- IE: 9;
- PHP: 5.3.24;
- template/theme: dd_toysshop_34.

Thank you very much for your understanding!

Sincerely,
Hizuuuu

Hello Hizuuuu,

Thirdly and last request: how can I change the font and background colours?

Your issue is probably coming from your template, so using some CSS code to re-adapt the display of your shop will probably do the job : hikashop.com/support/documentation/24-do...the-display.html#css

Hello Mohamed Thelji,

Thank you for your reply. Perhaps it will work for me too but first, I have to obtain the superuser nickname and password. I receive the error "You're not authorized to view this resource" (translated from my language).

Hello,

Can you show me where and how you are getting that error through some screenshots for example ?

Thanks.

Hello,

Yes, I can upload some pics. You'll find them attached.
It is in my language, but the translation it's as I mentioned in the previous message. I also uploaded the "proof" of being a second user made by the SuperUser.

To make the situation easier:
- photo 1: Components - HikaShop - Configuration
- photo 2: Components - HikaShop - Configuration - THE Error (translated in English) "You're not authorized to view this resource"
- photo 3: (also translated in English) Users - Manager Users.

Thank you again for your pretious time!

Hello,
Can you tell me if it correctly works with the "Super User" account ? Your issue is probably coming from the way you have configured your access levels regarding the "Registered administrator" group, you should correctly reconfigure it by using the "Super User" account, and Grant the configuration access to the "Registered administrator" group via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Access level".

Hello,

I will quote myself: "I received the webpage created with Joomla! by another company" and "I use a second account made by superuser with, in my opinion, limited access."

Indeed, it's a fact if I get the superuser's password, I will be able to do all the necessary things that I want to do.

Thank you!

Hello, guys,

I finally obtained the super user's password and I'm on this account now. I've read the documentation about that price example.

I don't want to become a burden to all of you, and I'm sure that you're tired of giving the same explanation to all the newbies that are creating an account and keep asking for help, but I must demonstrate to my employer that the black background and the dark grey font can be changed somehow from the script. I encounter this situation within all the windows where I have to complete something with editing form of the specific windows.

Thank you!

Hi,

Do you have an "editor.css" file in your template folder ? If yes, please try to rename it or comment its content.
If the background is now white, so replace the background color property on the class ".mce-content-body" or id "#tinymce".

If that does not solve the issue, you can try to add the following css properties to your template css file (or at the end of the editor.css file):

.mce-content-body{
    background-color: #fff !important;
}

If you still have this issue, please post your issue on the Joomla forum as it is not related on HikaShop ;)

Ps: you have to look in the backend template files.

Hello, Xavier,

Thanks for your time! All that I have is the super user's name and password to log on to the website background. I've added Fire Bug to my Firefox but don't know how to use it in proper way to make the needed modifications.

I guess that won't help me that much. The person whom I addressed to obtain the super user's name and password said I don't need nothing more and if I'm sure what I'm doing and that she tried with another "experienced" person in programing to complete my required task but there is no way to make the black background white and the font black or to remain as it is dark grey or whatever that color is.

I suppose this is the next best step: to make an account on Joomla! forum and try there as well.

Best of wishes, guys!

I did it! I managed to make the change. Please, see the attachment.

Do I have to do something else or this change doesn't affect anything and I can leave it like that?

Guys, you are the best. Too bad you always have to deal with others like me, but there's hope for the best.

Thank you again for the super-effort!

Best wishes,
Hizuuuu

P.S.: forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=49951 - with no offense to you, because you advised me to go to Joomla forums, I found this in my searching. I hope you can make the use of it! If not, my bad!
