Personal field on products conditioning

Hello,

I have a special case for 2 of our products.
They can only be added to the basket if our Job nr exists.
Once a customer places an order he get a Job ref NR.
He can later on order a complemental product (the 2 I am talking about) to his job.

Couldn't I add a personal field on those two products where the customer has to enter his Job ref NR, and if his NR does not correspond to a list of values, the order is rejected with a message to the customer saying that His reference is not in our database.

How can I maintain the Job nr field valid values ?

I will try to explain it :

The 2 products, I am talking about, are conditioned by the fact that the customer who wants them has to be an existing customer in our database.
So my idea is to let him enter(1) his original order Number (the one we have also i the Hikashop database) in the personal field and if his entry matches an available record in the database, he is allowed to order the products.

(1)Maybe select it in a dropdown list

Ideally we should verify that his has in an existing order the products with id 1, 3 or 20 from our database.
