how to set a fix expiration date for products

how can we add a fix expiration date for products.

example is after 30 days prior to posting date.

would it be possible for the vendor to republish the product after expiration?

at the moment when vendors item has expired he needs to repost it even do it has not been erased in his product list

it would be nice to have something like repost or renew.

i already tested it but its published in the vendor product list but it is no longer showing in the front end.

the only way to display it is to remove the date restriction.

could it be possible to resend it for approval? also can we have an email informing shop ownder and vendor that a product has expired?
