I tried to register two users and each time I click on the activation link and enter the user name
and password I get:

"Login denied! Your account has either been blocked or you have not activated it yet."

They exist in the Users menu under customers

When a new customer registers for our online shopping, no activation link is being generated to their email address. Please advise how I can resolve this issue.

The message appears, but no email is generated.

Hi Belinda,

You should try to register using the joomla login system so you'll be able to see if the problem come from Hikashop or not.
I think it's related to Joomla in which case the best to do is check if you can send email (there might be an issue on this point).
