Hi,

We are facing an issue on customer registration page. When a customer is registering on the website using microsoft email such as (hotmail) then they are not receiving any emails whereas other email clients are receiving email properly.
We have checked server error logs it showing something like this "550 SC-001Mail rejected by Outlook.com for policy reasons".

The reason for these errors are the email can have "Spam-Like Characteristics" and the verification link of hikashop account is too long. It can be the reason?

We have checked the IP/Domain reputation at mxtoolbox.com and found that reputation is good and it is not listed at any blacklist. Can you please advice how can we fix this?

Hi,

Use an email from mail-tester to register on your website:
www.mail-tester.com/
It will tell you what is the problem with your registration email and what you can do about it.
It will be more precise than just "Spam-Like Characteristics":
take.ms/vLdm2
I did it for you. As you can see, the SPF and Sender ID is not configured properly in your DNS and there is no DKIM setup on your email server. That's what is flagging the email as spam as per mail-tester tests.

Hi,

On mail-tester.com there is a documentation about setting up SPF for almost all the main hostings out there:
www.mail-tester.com/spf/
So I invite you to follow it.
Here is something for DKIM:
www.gettingemaildelivered.com/dkim-expla...ied-mail-effectively
You might also want to contact your hosting company for more help on the subject.
