Hello,

I have been trying to find a solution via the forum, no luck so far.

In my shop I want my customers to directly go to the CPanel.
If a user is not logged in, this will directly take you to the joomla's user component. (component/users)

Is there a way to redirect this directly to the HikaShop registration, because i tried to use the "Redirect Joomla registration to HikaShop", but that only seems to work if my menu item is "Hikashop --> Registration form" and not via "Hikashop --> User Control Panel"

A big thanks if you could help me out.

Hi,

I'm not following you.
What do you mean by "In my shop I want my customers to directly go to the CPanel." ? I doubt that you want the cpanel to be the home page of your website and the users have to be logged in to access the cpanel, so it's not possible to directly display the cpanel when someone arrives on your website anyway. So I'm not sure what you want.

If a user is not logged in, this will directly take you to the joomla's user component. (component/users)

To be more precise, if you try to access the HikaShop cpanel while not logged in, you'll be redirected to the login page of Joomla so that you can login to access the cpanel. And if you don't have an account yet, you can click on the "don't have an account" link there, which will then redirect you to the registration page of Joomla.
The "Redirect Joomla registration to HikaShop" plugin is to redirect the Joomla registration page to the HikaShop registration page so that you don't use the Joomla registration page but the HikaShop one instead.

Hello Nicolas,

Thanks for your reply, I'll try to explain better..

When a user is shopping there are basically three workflows in my webshop:
1. a user selects a product, thereby creates a cart, and directly goes into a check-out procedure.
This will call a direct login / registration within HikaShop. (see screenshot shop-WF1)

2. a user goes to the menu-item "my account". This will start Cpanel, when a user is not logged on yet (or had no account) it will not be taken to the registration within HikaShop, but to the Joomla one. (see screenshot shop-WF2)

3. a user goes to the menu-item "my cart" - no cart, nothing happens. When there is a cart, flow 1 will start when the buyer wants to check out.

The inconsitency is that the user gets a HikaShop Registration / Login in the the Cart flow .. and in the Cpanel flow a Joomla Registration / Login.. I want just one Registration / Login procedure, a my preference would be the HikaShop registration.

Hi,

That's not the Joomla registration. That's the Joomla login page. And yes, by default, if you click on the "don't have an account yet" link, you get directed to the Joomla registration.
So if you want to get redirected instead to the HikaShop registration, simply activate the "Redirect Joomla registration to HikaShop" via the Joomla plugins manager.
