-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.2
-- PHP version -- : 5.6
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Notice: Undefined variable: registration in /components/com_hikashop/views/user/tmpl/registration.php on line 22

Hi,

I was hoping you could help me solve an issue I'm having on the registration page for my website. The issue occurs when a customer goes to process their order and is asked to login or register an account on the 1st step of the checkout.

When a customer goes to register, an error message appears at the top of the page and none of the drop-down selection boxes load correctly. The strange thing is that this issue only occurs when a shopper goes to register as part of the checkout process. If they use the registration option in the login module that's in the main navigation then they don't have any problems.

The rest of the shopping cart works fine with no issues.

Hello,

1.
Notice messages won't affect your shop.
Note that when your shop is in production mode you should :
- Disable the Joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the Joomla configuration to "none"

2.
It can actually be coming from many things like cache/SEF issues so firstly, can you try it :
- Without any SEF option and module
- With the cache disabled and cleared

Hi,

Wouldn't it be because they didn't receive their activation email ?
In that case, the easiest solution is to deactivate the activation of user accounts in the settings of your Joomla user manager.
