Hello, I am currently testing my HikaShop Essential on my website and tried to do a registration to purchase a free test product. After finishing the registration form, the website forwarded me to a page with a large red box that said I had one step remaining in which I needed to click the activation link in my e-mail. It has been about 40 minutes now and still no activation link has sent to the e-mail I designated. Any idea what is going on? Here is the URL to my site, I have a product called "Test" that is free to troubleshoot HikaShop.

I've attached an image showing the error message that the account is not activated, because I have not received the activation e-mail to do so.

Also I would like to add that the account activation link was not sent to my spam folder either in the e-mail I designated for the registration.

So I tried this again with a different e-mail address and it seemed to work perfectly. The e-mail I initially used was the same that I have registered as a Super User in Joomla!, so I wonder if that had anything to do with it? It works now with one of my older random e-mail addresses.

Something to add, the first e-mail address I used was an academic e-mail address, the second one a Yahoo! e-mail. The server should send e-mail to all addresses correct?

Hi,

Go in the menu Customers>Emails history in HikaShop and you can check all the emails sent by HikaShop.
If you see the activation email there, then HikaShop has sent the email and the problem is between your hosting email server and your receiver email server (spam protection, etc).
You can turn off the user account activation if you want in the settings of the Joomla user manager.
Otherwise, you'll have to check with your hosting why the email wasn't sent. You can provide them with a copy of the email details from the menu Customers>Emails history.
