-- HikaShop version -- : 3.1.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.7.4
-- PHP version -- : 7.1.7
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : CHROME
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : The cart is empty

Hello,

The plugins "Redirect Joomla registration to HikaShop plugin" and "HikaShop user synchronization plugin" are activated,

When I register (user/form) and click on the email activation link, I get a message with:
The text from HIKA_REG_ACTIVATE_COMPLETE
And "The cart is empty"

I tried to disabled checkout legacy mode in the advanced configuration menu, how can I remove "The cart is empty"? This is just the registration process, no product has been chosen...

Best regards,

Hello,

Are you sure that the link is pointing to the same URL ? That you open the link with the same browser ?
Please note that the cart is link to the user session, so if you use another browser or another session, the cart won't be loaded and the modification of that cart to assign it to the new created user cannot be done.

Hello,

The link you gave me is an HikaShop user registration page.
So if you got the message "cart is empty", it means that the activate link redirected you to the checkout but because your cart is really empty, you're been sent to the product listing page with the indication that your cart is empty.

HikaShop have a parameter "page" which can be added to the activation URL, if that parameter contains "user" it would redirect to the user activation page (which is an empty view by default) ; otherwise it redirect the user to the checkout.
I suppose that with the important modification in HikaShop 3 ; that parameter is not added into the activation URL.
I just open a bug report ticket so we will fix that issue for the next coming release.

Hi,

We don't have the patch yet. We're working on it.
If you add the parameter in the email, it means that you won't be redirected to the checkout when you register through the checkout. And you don't want that either. It will require a proper patch.

As Jerome said, the patch will be in the next version, and the next version should be out in one or two weeks.
