Hi all,

Our client has a site with wishlist option, but they don't sell online. So we have disabled the possibility to use the cart.

Our customer would like to disable/hide some features on the Customer Control Panel:
- can I disable the buttons: Addresses, Orders and Cart(s)?

Also, when going to the wishlists page, they don't need some functionality there:
- can I disable the Add to cart function?
- can I disable the 'share wishlist' dropdown field?

Cheers,
Maurice

Hi,

There are no options to disable these, but you can either hide them with CSS code, or edit the corresponding view file to skip them.
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...ize-the-display.html
www.hikashop.com/support/forum/4-how-to/...r-control-panel.html
And it's the same with the wishlist page, you can user either CSS or a view override to hide/remove these areas.

Thank!

With your help I was able to change the cpanel layout, to remove the buttons.

However, I'm struggling to change the showcart view.
I need to delete a column in 2 different tables. But I can't locate the code. Also, these tablecells do not have a class of their own, so I'm not able to 'hide' them through css.

Firts, I need to remove the 'Add to cart' button (next to the Print button).
Second, I need to remove the column wich shows wether items are in stock.

See attached file.

Hope you can help me out.

Cheers,
Maurice

Hi,

The showcart view file is an old view file. It's not used anymore.
It should be the file "show.php" of the view "cart" that you want to edit.
If you activate the "Display view files" setting of the HikaShop configuration, as explained in the first link I gave you, you'll be able to easily see which view file is used where.

Thanks Nicolas,

Well, that explains a lot. Once in the right view it was easy to hide/comment the snippets.

Thanks again!

Maurice
