email customers wishlist reminders

Could you recommend the best way to configure hikashop to send an email to customers who have items in their wishlist to remind them of those wishlist items?

Is there some kind of integration, either with RS Forms or MailChimp (for example), that could be automated to send the customer a message after a week when they have added a product to their wishlist?

Hello,

There's actually no option to do that. The best solution will be to directly use the Acymailing component, or to use some code customization to create that feature.

Hi,

Such feature should be created like few years ago. Same applies for abandonment cart reminder, not paid order reminder and so on... Hikashop is great e-commerce component but not sure why these thing above are still not created? All major e-commerce have it by default because it increase sales, conversions, revenue... Isn't this all about for hikashop users??

As example for cart reminder we send email named "Your forgot your cart" with 10% discount and 3-4 of 10 will come back and that's a lot.

I see such topics are created every few months so why this still not added? Especially we do have some emails in back-end so adding new one shouldn't be so hard for you guys. I hope you see my point :)

Hi,

We didn't work on that because AcyMailing already has a cart reminder plugin for HikaShop.
This subject is about a wishlist reminder and it would require some code change to the cart reminder plugin to be able to handle that.
The best in that case would be to contact AcyMailing and see if they can adapt the plugin for that.

Regarding having that by default in HikaShop, that could be soemthing to add in the future yes. We'll think about it. Thank you for your feedback.
