Hi,

There is no such thing as the HikaShop user profile.
There is just the Joomla user profile ; and with the proper plugin and the proper setting, you could display some HikaShop user field into it.
So check the HikaShop user synchronization plugin settings via the Joomla plugins manager. There, you have a setting to display or not the custom user fields.

hello Nicolas!

You mean the HikaShop user synchronization plugin?

I believe the settig is okay... or did is miss something?

Is there another way for customers to edit their profile?

Dick

Hi,

First try with the default template of Joomla as it might come from a customization of your template that the fields are not added.
Otherwise, please describe how you access that page ? Which menu item do you use and please provide a screenshot of the settings of the menu item.
Also, you can create a menu item of the type "HikaShop user control panel" and access the profile edition page from there (that's usually what people do). Normally, the fields should display there if the option is activated.
Finally, please provide a screenshot of some field that you're talking about ? So that we can see how you set it up.

Hello Nocolas
thanks for the reply

I already checked the protostar template
The result is the same:
No hika fields

Both methods to acces the user_data are on the site.
there is a direct link in a menu
there is also the possibillity to go from the Hika User Control Page

If you go to this page you will see the hika_user_control_panel
formidog.nl/uw-gegevensoverzicht

On the same page is a menu-link with the title "Uw Formidog gebruikersprofiel"
this links to: index.php?option=com_users&view=profile

I am sorry

Hi,

Please provide a backend access and a FTP access along with a link to that page on your website and a link to this thread via our contact form. That way, we'll be able to check your settings, but also reproduce the issue, do some tests, and potentially some debugging in order to figure out the issue.

Hi,

I checked on your backend with the access you provided, but you didn't create any custom user field in the Display>Custom fields menu of HikaShop.
You only have custom address fields and these are linked to the addresses, not the users. So you can edit them when you edit an address: monosnap.com/file/dzKGokQuDeXgnULdY4zfqI4zSUOOYP
It's normal that you don't see them on the profile edition page. If the customer has several addresses it would be a mess to display the address fields of each address there.

Hi,

Look at the "table" setting. It says "address" not "user" on your screenshot.
Delete the custom field and recreate it with the correct table.

Ahaaaa!

The username field is there!

So, If I understand this correctly... all the custom fields that I want to show on the "edit user page" must be added to the user table?
Can you confirm this?

Thanks!

Dick
