Anti-bot Validation - Unknown error

-- url of the page with the problem -- : ayam.com/online-store
-- HikaShop version -- : 5.1.1
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Anti-bot Validation - Unknown error

I have the problem with the System - HikaShop ReCaptcha v2. Once enable user cannot register new account as it show "Anti-bot Validation - Unknown error"



Registration form are using the Hikashop registration, and the plugin for the HikaShop ReCaptcha v2 are running invisible recaptcha v2. Currently i have disable the plugin to have the site working.

Please advise how to fix the issue?

Hi,

Someone reported the same error message and it was because he was the v3 keys instead of the v2 keys:

So I would recommend checking this first.

i can confirm with you that i'm using the V2 key.

I already try the soliution you suggest on that thread before posting here. But no soluition.

Hi,

Someone else mentioned here ( www.hikashop.com/forum/5-support-en-fran...r/346918.html#346748 ) that the same error happened when the URL of the website didn't match with the domain configured in the ReCaptcha account.

Also, if you configured both Joomla's captcha and HikaShop's captcha, they can interfere and generate that error:

Make sure you use only HikaShop's.

Hi,

I already disabling convert form recaptcha (use in contact form) and the default Joomla recaptcha not in use, already disabled.

The issue still persist. This issue never happen before but we noticed it by last 2 day after one of our customer complaint that he cannot register the account because the recaptcha error.

Hi,

Well, I dont have any other ideas.
Could you provide a backend access and an access to the ReCaptcha account in order to check on the situation ?

Also, note that captcha works less and less to protect against bots due to advanced made in the past few years with AI. On our end, we switched to extensions.joomla.org/extension/ospam-a-not/ 2 years ago and we are satisfied with the results. This could be a good opportunity to look at switching on your end.
