How to install Hikashop userpoint in Hikashop Free Version

We're testing with Hikashop free version and want to use the standard Hikashop option for user points.
The instructions we found talk about creating a custom field in the user table.
That should be done in the Hikashop configuration under user, display custom fields.
The only tables available for creating a custom field are address and vendtor.
My question is what are the exact instructions or is the usertable not available for creating a custom field.
