dynamic pricing based on pro rata

Hello, i'm planning to work on a plugin that can calculate upgrade/downfrade fee on prorata basis :
-is it posible to modify the item price 'on th fly' to a cart?

Hi,

Yes you can dynamically change the product prices.
The plugin "system / custom_price" (also called "donation plugin") already perform that task and is a good example for such implementation.

Do you have tutorial on it ?
i assume by default all field with id='amount' will be replace by the plugin

i tried the demo, turn on the donation plugin, but the product page display "FREE" instead of Pricing Field

Hi,

The donation page in our demo website is like a documentation page but we saw that the links are not working like they should.
We already created a ticket in our side in order to fix that issue for the demo website (links which should point to the backend of the demo website).
