I don't want the system rounds up decimals for US currency rate field

-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.28
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : CHROME 56.0.2924.87

Hi,

If I enter 0,00029411178 in the US currency rate field (see attach 1) and click on save, the systema automatically rounds up the rate to 0.00029 (5 decimal positions). See attach 2

I wan to keep all the 11 decimal positions to keep the original number unchanged (0,00029411178).

Please, could you help me?

Hi,

The float elements in the database are stored with the format " DECIMAL(12,5) " which mean that only five decimals are stored in the database.
You can see to modify it directly in your table structure if you want more precision ; but by default in the table definition, it is 5.
