Show discount only at checkout

Is it possible to show the normal (non discount) prices in the shop and show the discount only at checkout? This is possible by using a discount code, but that's not what I want. I want to give certain customer groups a discount without them having to enter codes, entering coupons, things like that.

Yes, it's possible.
You have two options:
1. You use a coupon and you turn on its "auto load" option so that the coupon loads automatically on the checkout.
2. You use a discount and you set the "show discounted prices" option of the configuration to not display the discount.

Thanks, I tried both options:

1. This works (as long as I give the coupon a name) but it's not the best method for me. It feels like a workaround (which is good at some moments).
2. I don't get this working. I look at Sysyem - Configuration - Display - Default parameters for products. Here I see the option 'Show discount price' and 'Price display method'. 'Show discounted price' gives me four options, 'Price display method gives me five options'. For the page before (showing all the products) I use the option of the menu item I use to show these. I test with a product with an original price of € 119,00. Whatever option I choose (at both places) it has not the wanted effect. I want it (at both places) to show € 119,00, nothing more and nothing less. When getting to checkout I want a total price and after that the discount for that customer group.

Any idea which combination of options should work? It's a bit frustrating because some of the options sound so logical, you assume directly you have found the right one. Not... :(

Hi,
Did you tried to set the "Show discounted price" option to NO and the "Price display method" to Unit price only ?

I'm pretty sure I tried that and it wasn't working. But now it looks like it's working :(
But I'm pretty much used to the other method and that's working fine for now. Thanks for your help.

Tested again, but it ain't working. I have the settings as told, but I see a discount price instead of the normal price.

Hikashop will always show the price that your customers will have to pay to purchase your products, so the solution can be to set the "Display price" option to NO and directly add your product price through your product description.

In that case I suppose the conclusion must be that mentioned option 2 will not work for me, because my question was "Is it possible to show the normal (non discount) prices in the shop and show the discount only at checkout?"

Yes there is no option to do that. but another solution can be to use the "Retail price" option through your product configuration page and use some views customization or some CSS code to hide your product price through your product page.
