-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.25
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.24
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 37
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : The coupon you entered cannot be used in the order under $XX.XX

I have set up a coupon with the following parameters:

Code: testing
Type: Coupons
Flat amount $6.95 AUD
Percentage: -
Product tax category: None
Number of times used: 0
Published: Yes
Start Date: -
End date: -
Minimum order value: 69.95
Minimum number of products: 0
Quota: 0
Quota per user: 0
Product: 735 Name Badge
Category: 0
Including sub categories: No
Zone: 0
Auto load in cart if possible: Yes
Coupon percentage applies to product only: No
Coupon handling of discounted products: Standard behavior
Access level: All

--

Steps to use:
1. Add $80 worth of products to cart (exceed the $69.95 minimum)
2. Add the 735 Name Badge product to the cart
3. Enter coupon code: "testing"

Message: The coupon you entered cannot be used in the order under $69.95
No discount applied. Total in cart = $86.95

Note: when I change the parameter "Product: 735 Name Badge " to remove the product - then the coupon works, but I need the coupon only to apply when this particular product is being purchased.

Hi,

To allow the coupon only if this specific product is in the cart, you can create a new category named, for example "discounted" then add the "Product: 735 Name Badge" in that category and restrict the coupon on that category.

Hi,

I have followed your advice, but the same problem occurs.
1. Create new category called "Name Badge"
2. Assigned Product "735 Name Badge" to the category "Name Badge"
3. Add Name Badge to CART
4. Add products worth $160 (to go over the $69.95 minimum)
5. ERROR: The coupon you entered cannot be used in the order under $69.95

From memory coupons like this worked fine before I did the update which was released 2.3.3.

I rolled back to an older version of HikaShop to test this (Version 2.2.3) and the coupon function works exactly as expected.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply, I just tested it on my end with the last Hikashop version and it worked fine, a solution can be to give me a temporary back-end access so that I can directly test it on my end.
