Adding a bulk discount on multiple products

Hi there

We are currently working on a website for a client who has asked us an interesting question. We have sought through the documentation and forums but can't find the answer, whether it is possible or not.

The question is, can you set a discount on multiple products dependent on the weight and/or quantity of those products.

So for example, the client sells Biltong.

He wants to set discounts dependent on how much biltong someone orders.

Someone may order 5kg of Beef Biltong and 5kg of Garlic Biltong

If there is a price variation at the 5k and 10kg marks, instead of applying the 5kg variant seperately, they would like to apply the 10kg discount on both orders.

I know as a single product, price variations can be set depending on the quantity, but no idea how to apply this and link multiple products together.

Does anyone have any idea how we could do this, and if we can do this?
We will be running the website with Hikashop Business once we have the website on a live url domain.

The question is, can you set a discount on multiple products dependent on the weight and/or quantity of those products.

There is no option to do that, a solution can be to use an "auto - loaded" coupon and to restrict discounts via a product "category" and the "Minimum number of products" option.
So a solution can be to directly, group your products per weight, and adapt the "Minimum number of products" option.
